Scream Box
Created in the spring of 2004 using Macromedia Director and Final
Cut Pro.
This installation piece involved the user climbing into a 6 foot
long, black box where they would find a mouse. Upon clicking the
mouse, a video would begin to play on the monitor in front of
them. More clicking sped up the video, not clicking would cause
it to slow down and stop, thus forcing you to be inside the box
clicking the mouse in order to experience it. The video was of
3 different people being stuck inside this box screaming to be
let out. Their only light was a small lighter.
